2nd Chance Ministries Church values God’s people and providing service to others. These two values come together in a variety of outreach efforts both within and beyond the Riverside community. Christian Education
Sound theological education provided through Sunday School, Bible Study, and New Member Orientation.
Evangelism
Every member is involved in spreading the Word of God and inviting others to fellowship.
Social Justice
We are one of hundreds of churches across the country that offer the “Be the Bridge” program focused on racial reconciliation. Through intentional conversations about race, participants are led through a Biblically based process that allows for racial awareness and healing. Homeless Outreach
We work with the City of Riverside and other organizations to address the needs of people without homes. If you are experiencing homelessness, please contact us so that we may provide you with the resources offered by the City of Riverside.
Food Ministry
Working with local sources, we collect and distribute food to those with food insecurity.
Prison Ministry
The Bible Correspondence Fellowship is a Bible study course providing fellowship and Biblical education to incarcerated women. For more information about this outreach contact Sister Anderson at 951-662-2008.
Adopt-a Senior Program
For over 15 years, 2nd Chance Ministries has partnered with Vista Pacifica residential facility to provide enriching activities to their residents. Some of these activities include making visits, phone calls, holiday activities, giving cards, and letter writing.

Designed to help men in the church grow spiritually and provide opportunities for them to help each other, our church and our community.
Women’s Department
Designed to help women in the church grow spiritually and provide opportunities for them to help each other, our church and the community.
Community Involvement
We participate in the planning and execution of Riverside’s Good Friday Breakfast, Easter Sunrise Service on Mt. Rubidoux, and National Day of Prayer.
Health and Wellness
We promote activities that support a healthy lifestyle and are a member of the Riverside HEAL Zone.
World Missions
We support Voices Of the Martyrs, Doctors without Borders, Habitat for Humanity and other ministries working both inside and outside the U.S.A. borders.
